The Sloc

Say 'The Sloc' to many locals and today it is invariably linked with the Parish Walk - an increasingly popular 85 mile road walk that takes place in mid June - with the aim to complete the task within 24 hours. After 20 miles or so the 1500 walkers are greeted with this climb from Rushen Church. On the plus side, with views like this, it's a great place to catch your breath.
