Passenger Martin Hull completing the Sidecar TT race 2 and winning a bronze replica in 19th position. But that's only half the story.

After contracting an eye infection Martin was detained in hospital overnight prior to this race. Then, after being informed that he couldn't race - he had an eye operation and was given the all clear. Although it doesn't look like he could see much looking at this image.

Unable to get any transport to the pits, he ran the couple of miles from the hospital to the grandstand three quarters of an hour before the race.
